Accessibility Statement
In collaboration with Colorado Mesa University partners, Tomlinson Library is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all individuals by applying relevant accessibility standards, responding to user feedback, and providing support and accommodations.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, Level AAA. We incorporate accessibility best practices and guidelines into our digital design process and aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards as well as other accessibility best practices.
Third Party Content
Tomlinson Library makes it a priority to select and acquire, whenever possible, electronic resources and technologies that are accessible to all. There may be instances when links to third-party websites or content are not accessible. While we cannot control the accessibility of content provided by third parties, we are happy to assist any member of the public with reading or accessing content on our site.
Licensing Procedures
When beginning the process of procuring a new electronic resource, Tomlinson Library collects accessibility documentation and requires a point-of-contact for accessibility related questions. We ask all third-party providers for a completed Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) that we file alongside the fully executed license agreement.
